Need a flexible schedule? You may want to consider a dedicated or tailored private e-Learning session with Chesapeake Aviation Training. What is an e-Learning session? Through the magic and bandwidth of high-speed Internet and the newest conferencing software, e-Learning can now be a part of our formal education process. Internet conferencing software enables a peer-to-peer or many-to-many medium for formal training as well as exchanging ideas and information. More than just a simple web cam, e-Learning offers live video and audio web conferencing and web-casting tools with advanced features such as PowerPoint™ presentation support, screen annotation, live presentation recording and archiving, screen and desktop sharing. The typical private or tailored e-Learning session may consist of a PowerPoint™ presentation with the ability to share the presenter's or participant's desktop applications including an Internet browser. Desktop or screen sharing enables the presenter to surf the Internet in real time while the participant follows along as if the presenter and participant are in the same room. High speed DSL or cable modem is strongly encouraged. This technology is compatible with both Microsoft Windows and MAC operating systems and most all popular web browsers. No other software is needed. All audio is done via a landline connection. What topics are appropriate? If none of the current e-Learning sessions offered by Chesapeake Aviation Training meet your specific training needs, we specialize in aviation weather training, instrument training and advanced avionics training using the Garmin 430/530, Avidyne PFD/MFD and Stec-55X autopilot as well as the G1000 platform. An e-Learning session can be tailored for any of these topics with specific goals in mind or the session can be entirely an ad hoc discussion with copious interaction with questions and answers. Preflight weather analysis** is another potential e-Learning topic. If you have an upcoming flight and would like to review the weather for this flight, a tailored e-Learning session may be educational. How do I schedule a private e-Learning session? Most e-Learning sessions are no more than one
hour. As a result, scheduling is done in one-hour blocks of time with a
minimum reservation of one (1) hour. An unlimited
number of hours can be prepaid*, however, to leverage the most out of the
e-Learning experience, each e-Learning session will last no longer than two hours
at a time (two one-hour back-to-back sessions). We will accommodate both day
and evening time slots (schedule permitting) starting as early as 8:00 am
(eastern time) with the last evening slot starting as late as 10 pm (eastern

Note: Most schedules can be accommodated, however, due to the high demand of this service all sessions must be scheduled with Chesapeake Aviation Training at least one week prior to the participants desired day and time. Adjustments to the schedule may need to be made for personal or business reasons for both the presenter and the attendee. What are the costs? e-Learning time will be billed in whole hour increments at $75 per hour with a minimum of one (1) hour. This fee includes $65/hour for professional instruction and $10/hour for server connection, conferencing charges and other administrative fees. For a limited time, prepay for five (5) hours and only pay $300. Prepay for 12 or 20 e-Learning session hours and save even more. MasterCard or Visa are accepted. Prices shown are subject to change without notice. *All prepaid e-Learning time must be used within six months from the time of purchase. If not used within this timeframe it will be forfeited. Unused time cannot refunded as long as Chesapeake Aviation Training or its agents are providing this online opportunity.
