Chesapeake Aviation Training will provide flight training in most single-engine aircraft** Looking for a Columbia 400 or 350 Flight Instructor or Cirrus Flight Instructor? We currently specialize in Columbia flight instruction and Cirrus flight instruction including Columbia Factory Training. This includes training in Columbia 400 & 350s and Cirrus SR20 & SR22s and with all avionics configurations specializing in the Avidyne PFD, Garmin 430/530 and Stec autopilot & Garmin G1000 configurations . Note: You must be able to provide your own plane for all flight training. Package and Basic Rates FAA Instrument Rating Program (IFR) Single-engine airplane instrument rating: $5,995 plus expenses*. Provides up to 50 hours of instrument instruction towards the single-engine instrument airplane rating. Includes the ground and flight instruction required by FAR 61.65(d)(2). If more than 50 hours are needed, the daily/hourly rate below applies. The fee above assumes that the student has accomplished a home-study course per FAR 61.65(a)(3). Discount rate only valid with "local" flight instruction. Instruction outside of the Charlotte, NC area is based on the daily rate listed below. The cost of ground instruction to prepare for the written exam can be purchased separately (see the Ground School Programs below). Fee also does not include the cost of aircraft rental, fuel, landing fees, parking fees and designated examiner fee. Minimum charge of $350/day for locations outside of the Charlotte, NC area. FAA Commercial Certificate Program Single-engine airplane commercial: $4,295 plus expenses* Provides up to 45 hours of instruction towards the single-engine airplane commercial class rating. Includes the ground and flight instruction required by FAR 61.129(a)(3). If more than 45 hours are needed, the daily/hourly rate below applies. The fee above assumes that the student has accomplished a home-study course per FAR 61.125(a). Only valid with "local" flight instruction. Instruction outside of the Charlotte, NC area is based on the daily rate listed below. The cost of ground instruction to prepare for the written exam can be purchased separately (see the Ground School Programs below). Continued/Advanced Instrument Training We provide continuing and advanced instrument and avionics training in technically advanced airplanes. Learn how to use and integrate the autopilot, GPS, primary and multi-function flight displays for IFR or VFR flight. Fees will depend on the amount of instruction time desired. $600/day plus expenses* for
local Columbia 400 and 350 factory training or Cirrus SR22/SR20 training

is a daily rate and is independent of the number of logged flight/ground training hours
