Cancellation Insurance is strongly encouraged! Chesapeake Aviation Training offers cancellation insurance for every workshop for an additional $75 per person. We strongly encourage you to purchase cancellation insurance if you are planning to fly in to the workshop or have a potential personal or business conflict. Cancellation insurance protects you from losing your money if you have to miss the workshop due to poor weather, business or personal matters. It is not our intention to make any additional income from the insurance. Rather, it is to cover fixed expenses we have committed once we have accepted your registration. If you choose to pay for cancellation insurance and do not attend the workshop, you will receive the full amount of the workshop, less any cancellation insurance, refunded if you cancel at any time for any reason. Keep in mind, cancellation insurance will never be refunded whether or not you attend the workshop or transfer to another workshop. If Chesapeake Aviation Training cancels the workshop (insufficient registrations, illness, family emergency, etc.) then the full cost of the workshop will be refunded within two weeks of the workshop date. If you purchased cancellation insurance, this amount will also be refunded. You will be issued a refund based on your original method of payment.
