Scott C. Dennstaedt is owner and operator of Chesapeake Aviation Training, Inc.  Scott is an FAA-certificated instrument flight instructor (CFI-IA), advanced and instrument ground instructor (AGI/IGI) and former NWS research meteorologist who resides in Fort Mill, SC (a suburb of Charlotte, NC).  Besides developing and presenting his online weather workshops,  he is a contributing editor for IFR magazine, Plane & Pilot magazine, Pilot Journal and Twin & Turbine.  In his spare time, Scott has been a guest speaker at several major aviation events and is a member of the Transportation Speakers Association.  Don't forget to check out many of Scott's articles posted online.   

Scott participated in the initial development of the Cirrus Pilot Proficiency Program (CPPP) for the Cirrus Owners and Pilots Association (COPA) and is currently helping the Columbia Owners and Pilots Association (Cessna Advance Aircraft Club) develop their recurrent training program.  Currently, he is a Cessna (Columbia) Factory Instructor and Cirrus Instructor.  He provides nationwide flight training including accelerated instrument training, advanced avionics training and/or recurrent training for owners of new or used Cessna 400 and 350, Cirrus SR22 and SR20 aircraft and many other technically-advanced single-engine aircraft.

 

Scott has logged over 3500 hours of flight time (2500 hours in technically advanced aircraft) and has been flying since 1998.  He's always had a love for aviation and weather since childhood and is enjoying his true vocation of teaching.
